Bio
Prior to starting my mental health counseling practice, I worked as a speech and language pathologist in a variety of school and clinical settings for 22 years. Much of my work involved parent counseling.
Over the years I have worked with many wonderful women who no matter how dedicated they were to their children’s growth and progress, they often felt overwhelmed and inadequate. Through validation and self-reflection I assisted them in finding their inner strength and personal parenting style to parent their children with confidence.

My personal and professional experience has taught me that life can be challenging and hard to navigate, at times. I believe that we all have the potential to find our inner strength and resilience to meet those challenges and live a more meaningful life.
As we move through life, we may encounter situations and events that make us feel isolated and alone. Deep down, we are all looking for connection and understanding. It is my mission, through the therapy process, to help you learn self-compassion and acceptance so that you can be more present and confident in your relationships. Therapy is a journey that entails self-reflection and honest conversation. It is important for me to create a supportive, empathic, and compassionate space for you to feel safe as you reach your goals at your own pace.
